Whew… I just returned from a jam-packed 9-day trip to Florida! The trip kicked off with the 2025 Troop Member Retreat, where I facilitated an interactive workshop on authentic leadership in human resources. I spoke about what it means to bring your “whole self” to work.To say the conversation was vulnerable, inspiring, and empowering would be a massive understatement. Although I had to miss the 2025 International Gay Coaches Conference, I’m incredibly proud and humbled to share that I was honored with this year’s prestigious Thomas J Leonard Humanitarian Award, named after the founder of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Wow! After the retreat, we spent a few days at Disney World, which absolutely lived up to its tagline as “The Most Magical Place on Earth.” My favorite part? Riding the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure—I’ve always loved water rides. Next up was the Island of Adventure at Universal Orlando. If you’re short on time, I highly recommend the VIP Experience—it was a total game-changer. Lastly, my dear friend and coaching colleague, Ellen Whitlock Baker, just launched her new podcast, Hard at Work. In our episode, we dive into the future of work and why being a trauma-informed leader is more critical than ever. >>> Listen to the episode here to learn why the future of work is trauma-informed! That’s it for now. Wishing you a fabulous day! Kyle | CaffeinatedKyle.com P.S. Feeling stuck in your job search or career?
