I graduated + how spirituality can shape your career ✨

This weekend, I graduated from my Certificate in Trauma & Spiritual Care program!

The 9-month program was nothing short of transformative. While I already had a robust understanding of trauma, this experience deepened my capacity to hold space for clients who are wrestling with career challenges, transitions, and purpose.

Since starting the program, I’ve noticed the role of trauma and spirituality showing up more often in coaching sessions (or maybe I’m just listening differently now). More and more clients are ready to:

✅ Recover from toxic workplaces
✅ Do work that feels more meaningful and aligned
✅ Change the world for the better, even when it feels like everything is burning around us

Whether you call it spirituality, calling, intuition, or just a gut feeling, it all matters.

Here are a few questions to reflect on as you consider the spiritual dimension of your own career:

✨ Where in your career do you feel most spiritually alive?
✨ What might your discomfort be trying to teach you?
✨ Who are you becoming, and what do you want your career to look like to honor that becoming?

Because I enjoyed the program so deeply, I applied (and was accepted!) into the university’s Certificate in Spiritual Direction program. Orientation is this fall, with the two-year program beginning in January. I can’t wait to begin this next chapter!

I’ll continue weaving these spiritual insights into my coaching, writing, speaking, and the sacred work of helping my clients change the world for the better.
